Yakisugi “shou sugi ban” siding. The top layer of delicate soot is lightly brushed off, leaving a smooth, consistent, and dark surface, and an oil prefinish is applied prior to shipment. Suitable for exterior and interior applications. Available burned both faces (S4S) for fencing or louver applications. Delivered ready to install.

FINISH & MAINTENANCE DETAILS
Urethane Modified Architectural Grade Alkyd
This product comes with a factory oil finish and is delivered ready to install. Oil finishes are applied to achieve the desired color, offer better color longevity over time, and to bond in surface soot. Refinishing every 2~15 years will slow down the aging process and allow the siding to retain the specified color longer. However, this is a maintenance-optional product due to millwork and heat treatment. Touchup oil for end cuts, notches, and rips is included with each wood order shipment.
SHIPPING DETAILS
Minimum order volume is 400 square feet for the order’s first line item. Standard lead time is 2~3 weeks PO to ship-ready, then add 1~2 weeks for shipping. Please order at least 5 weeks before needed at site, and note that lead time can go up if we are oversold on specific items.
