Gendai® Alkyd Dark Gray Shou Sugi Ban Siding on Revelstoke House exterior along tree line

Gendai®

Revelstoke House

Revelstoke, BC, Canada

The simple, striking profile of the Revelstoke House utilized Gendai® in Alkyd Dark Gray oil prefinish. The pared-down design of the house allows the beauty of the surrounding environment to shine through. This home is also a fantastic example of perfectly-placed furring strips; a step that is not to be overlooked during the installation phase. Furring allows space for moisture to escape quickly (keeping the walls dry), and it ensures the siding lays flat which is paramount when installing yakisugi.
