The Hill House settles naturally into the landscape, capturing the calming view of Mount Monadnock. Clad in our Suyaki® Tung Oil Black yakisugi, it maintains a simple yet thoughtfully composed layout, giving the home a distinct presence that naturally draws the eye. Designed by kcs Architects, the project balances clarity and warmth throughout.
Deep overhangs in Pika-Pika® yakisugi introduce subtle color shifts and depth, allowing the home to blend naturally with its surroundings. The same Pika-Pika Linseed Natural is brought indoors on ceiling surfaces, creating continuity between exterior and interior. These interior portions were top-coated specifically for interior use.

Our lumber products are all of Japanese origin and are unaffected by Canadian import duties from the US. All North American orders ship from inventory stored at our US facility within two weeks.
