Fire Ratings & Wildfire Compliance for Nakamoto Forestry Siding

A few of our exterior wood products achieve ASTM E84 Class A flame spread ratings. Contact [email protected] to request current certification documentation for your specific product and assembly.

Nakamoto Forestry has an ongoing program of third-party testing in collaboration with internationally accredited laboratories to evaluate the performance of our products against key fire safety standards.

Since we are continuously expanding our certifications and since standards and codes often change, please reconfirm status with our Sales team before your project begins.

Please note: Fire compliance in high-risk zones is typically achieved through tested wall assemblies rather than siding alone.

Below is a list of common fire-related standards in North America.

Please review our Siding and the Wildland Urban Interface knowledge article for more in-depth information on compliance, best practices in high-fire zones, and a useful list of resource links.
