This modern family home (by Imprint Architecture and Design) joins two similar footprints that sit low to the ground, embracing the site’s natural slope and topography. Clad in sustainably sourced Suyaki® Tung Oil Black yakisugi “shou sugi ban” siding, the exterior presents a singular black palette contrasted by a blond cedar cut out at the front entry.

The interior spaces feature more warm, natural wood accents throughout. Double gable wood trusses throughout the main gathering space and owners’ suite echo the exterior roof line. Large, energy efficient windows on all sides provide ample daylight and a panoramic connection to neighboring woodland views.
