The Tree House

This three-level “organic contemporary” estate in the foothills of Southern California (by Koffka/Phakos Design) combines elements of privacy, scale, and indoor-outdoor entertaining.

Designed as a series of connected pavilions, open glass Fleetwood doors and vaulted wood ceilings create a seamless flow between the interiors and the resort-style grounds. All-natural exterior materials, highlighted by Gendai® Weathering Stain Silver yakisugi “shou sugi ban” siding, elegantly ground the home in its wooded surroundings.
