Online Continuing Education Course Available for Architects and Designers
Architects and designers can now access Using Charred Wood for Exteriors and Interiors, an online continuing education course hosted by Architectural Record. The course explores yakisugi “shou sugi ban”, a traditional Japanese charred wood product increasingly specified in contemporary residential and commercial architecture.
The course examines both the traditional manufacturing process and modern architectural applications of yakisugi.
Participants will learn:
