Antinori Village Designed For Local Climate, Clad in Suyaki® Tung Oil Black Featured on Architectural Record

Situated in Rabun County, one of the rainiest places in the United States, BLDGS designed a village for artists to eat, commune, and lead workshops. In response to the climate and site, cabins clad in Suyaki® Tung Oil Black yakisugi are designed with angular roofs and long scuppers that cantilever from the eaves, directing water away from the cabins and common areas.
